Samira Hodaei is a visual artist born in Tehran, Iran. Her paintings and installations analyze the aesthetics of globalization and communication technology while interacting with Iranian culture and identity, which are deeply intertwined with poetry, religion, and petroleum. She is based in Tehran and Berlin.
